Everyone needs a little help at some time. At
some point in our lives we all need a helping hand, an act of kindness,
or a friendly word. We hope that you will find that within
our “Closet”.
The CCC provides clothing for the entire family
(household) at no charge to you. To make sure everyone is
treated fairly we have a generous quota system for you and your
family. This enables us to serve more than 11,500 individuals in
an equal manner. As you walk through the CCC you will see that
we have Women’s Department, Men’s Department, Children’s Department,
Shoe Department, and a small Knick-Knack Department.
To become a client of the CCC all you need to do is get a referral slip from
an area human service agency. Bring the referral slip to the CCC during
client hours and we will register you in our system. Please bring social
security cards for everyone in your family (household) with you on your first
visit. Once you are registered you will be able to shop twice a month for
up to a year.
See what our clients have to say:
“I want people out there who donate and volunteer to know they are
making a difference and I’m grateful. I'm so thankful it’s
there.” Jill
“Sometimes I feel discriminated against out in public, but I don't
feel that way when I come to the Community Clothes Closet.” George
“I come here to get clothing and compassion. They are never
judgmental and I leave with a positive boost.” Anna
“I want to thank everyone who helps at the CCC. I have made
bad financial choices in my life, but everyone at the CCC makes me
feel wonderful. I am grateful when I can get myself something
pretty and then I feel better about myself.” Sandy
